“What sculpture is to a block, education is to the human soul.” - Joseph Addison

IT revolution has been the most significant revolution after Industrial revolution. IT has not only revolutionized our work place, but has also eliminated the barriers of time and distance. Advances in chip technologies and communication media have increased the speed in bandwidth for communication, at the same time reducing its size and cost significantly. IT has made huge difference to the way we live and communicate.

Realizing the need for preparing the budding professionals to face the new challenges in the ITl; special courses have been designed, developed and perfected by teaching organizations backed by the Statutory Councils. Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is one such course, which is found very popular among those who want to pursue IT Profession at advanced level and serve the industry as S/W Engineers and IT Anaysts.

The MCA course provides maturity and logical thinking capacity to its students. The bias of the curriculum towards the industry applications reduces the preparation time required for an MCA degree holder to become productive in an industry.

Research has revealed that MCA degree holders are among the most successful IT professionals within the country and abroad. Their ability to understand user needs and to convert them into applications has reduced the life cycle of development and implementation of applications.

BVICAM, backed by the rich experience of imparting Computer Science & Applications education, takes pride in offering MCA Programme under affiliation with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi.

The MCA programme concentrates on a sound theoretical background as well as good practical exposure to students in the relevant areas. It is intended to provide a modern industry-based education in applied Computer Science and Applications.
