Report :

Mr. Daman Dev Sood, Chief Operating Officer, Continuity and Resilience, was the main speaker of the webinar. The session started with the brief introduction of Organization Resilience and BCM (Business Continuity Management). As the entire world is going through Covid-19 Pandemic, it is important for organizations to adapt and make themselves better in such changing environments. In this regard, he discussed the importance of Organisational Resilience, various steps towards BCM implementation with its key success factors such as commitment of top management, clearly defined roles & responsibilities, continued management focus etc.

Continuing with the discussion, he threw light on Organizational culture, relationship between different entities of an organization and ISO standards that help in achieving Organisation Resilience. He also included in his talk, the challenges of working from home, challenges of the ‘New Normal’ and opening up after lockdown, crisis communication with few cases. The entire session was very interactive as the attendees were asked to answer few questions based on their knowledge & interest and live poll results were shown. There were 289 participants in the webinar. The session concluded with Question & Answer session in which participants willingly asked their queries.
