CSI Student’s Branch-Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Computer Applications and Management, New Delhi organized an Invited talk by Dr. Vinod, Program Manager, 3M Renewable Energy Division, St. Paul, USA – on 11^th March 2015, as part of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of CSI. The title of the talk was New Technologies in Solar Photo-Voltaic and Software Applications.

The session commenced with the welcome address by Mr. S.D. Sharma, Chairman CSI – Delhi Chapter. Dr. Vinod discussed on various aspects of Solar Engineered Systems and threw a light on the growth of Solar Systems in India. In his talk, he also explored the role of Software applications in development and testing phases of Solar products and their models. The knowledgeable session concluded with the words by Mr. R.K Vyas, RVP Region-I CSI. Mr. SD Sharma felicitated Dr. Vinod and gave a vote of thanks to all the attendees.

Also present were Mr. Yodisther Sharma, Chairman Elect CSI Delhi Chapter, Mr Shiv Kumar, PVP Region III CSI and other CSI members from various institutions. The faculties and students of BVICAM attended the session with great enthusiasm. Mr. V.K. Gupta, Hony. Secretary, CSI Delhi Chapter and Mr. Vishal Jain, Assistant Prof. BVICAM coordinated the entire event.
